Catherine Baumgardner, BSBA, MHA, FACHE. is an experienced senior executive in all levels of healthcare management and service delivery. Her expertise and passion for working with organizations to create the ideal customer experience for patients, physicians and employees is well known nationally. With her dynamic personality and insight, she is uniquely positioned to help your leadership build a strong and effective service foundation that will endure.

Qualifications

With more than 20 years of senior management experience, Catherine is uniquely positioned to understand organizations from “your side of the desk." That understanding and insight contributes greatly to the creation of strategies and plans that will work for your organization…not just the theories of what will work. In addition to her practical experience, Catherine has a rich educational background. After receiving both her Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from The Ohio State University, she continued her training at Oxford University, ENGLAND, as well as the Crosby Quality College, The Ritz Carlton and The Disney Institute…affording her the opportunity to understand and apply first hand, the unique customer strategies of these organizations. She is also a Fellow in the ACHE (American College of Healthcare Executives) and is involved with SHSMD (Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development), ASHHRA(Society of Healthcare Human Resources Administrators), NSA (National Speaker’s Association) and ASTD (American Society for Training and Development). Catherine is an engaging speaker and trainer, and has presented nationally as well as internationally. A sample of organizations includes: ASHHRA (American Society of Healthcare Human Resources Administrators); Press Ganey Regional Conferences; Ontario Hospital Association; and the National Association of Occupational Health Professionals. She is also an active volunteer in her community and serves as Chair of The Ohio State University Alumni Advisory Council and the alumni Board of Directors.
